The Wailers, representing Jamaica, honor the legacy of Bob Marley with soul-stirring reggae melodies and timeless classics. Led by Aston Barrett Jr, son of the legendary “Familyman”, The Wailers continue to captivate audiences with their signature sound. Additionally, Fiesta’s lineup welcomes the Grammy-winning group Ozomatli, renowned for their infectious dance music infused with Latin rhythms. Saturday brings purveyors of soft rock, Mustache Harbor, who will be delivering all the hits from the era of Smooth. Groove to your favorites from bands like Steely Dan, Toto and more.The band invites everyone to “Party with us, live with us, work out at the dojo with us, slap on a stash and drink from our bountiful coconuts filled with smooth grooves and tasty hooks. Enjoy the ride!”
Beyond the music, Fiesta del Sol offers a feast for the senses, including a variety of culinary delights and libations available for purchase. For those who prefer a VIP experience, a limited number of popular VIP passes are available online starting Friday, March 15.
Families are invited to enjoy a wide range of activities, including bounce houses, games, and interactive experiences for children. The festivities kick off each day at 10:30am with performances by San Diego’s popular kids music group Hullabaloo.
Additionally, guests can support the Solana Beach Firefighters by indulging in a pancake breakfast from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. on May 19.
To ensure a seamless experience, Plaza Street and adjacent roads will be closed to traffic. Attendees are encouraged to utilize alternative transportation options such as biking, public transit, or ridesharing services. Free parking and a shuttle service are available at Border Avenue and South Sierra Avenue.
