BOB ODENKIRK HEADS INTO SMALL-TOWN CHAOS IN NORMAL
Bob Odenkirk is back in dangerous territory with Normal, a fast-moving neo-Western directed by Ben Wheatley and written by Derek Kolstad. The film stars Odenkirk as Ulysses, an unassuming substitute sheriff sent to the quiet Midwestern town of Normal for what should have been a temporary reset. Instead, a botched bank robbery cracks open something far darker lurking beneath the town’s calm surface. The cast also includes Henry Winkler and Lena Headey.
At 90 minutes, Normal looks built to hit hard and move fast – the latest collaboration between Odenkirk, John Wick creator Derek Kolstad, and Nobody producer Marc Provissiero. With Wheatley behind the camera, expect something tense, kinetic, and a little off-center in all the right ways. Normal opens only in theaters this Friday, April 17, 2026.
