Mission Bayfest 2026: The Offspring, The Interrupters and Goldfinger Take Over Sunday

Mission Bayfest 2026 is bringing a weekend of music to San Diego's waterfront, and Sunday is the day we have circled. The Offspring, The Interrupters and Goldfinger share the October 18 bill at Mariner's Point Park, giving the festival's closing day a strong punk-and-ska pull.
The festival runs October 16-18 in Mission Beach. Its wider lineup includes Rebelution, Kolohe Kai, Steel Pulse, Common Kings and SOJA, but for Revolt readers drawn to guitars, singalongs and the crossover between music and board culture, Sunday's combination deserves a closer look.
The Offspring: The headlining draw gives Sunday's bill its big guitar anchor. The band's official website points listeners to Supercharged, making that a useful starting point before revisiting the catalog. Our interest is in the mix of familiar music and what the band brings to this particular festival appearance. The setlist will have to wait until the show.
The Interrupters: Their place on the bill brings the ska-punk side into focus. That changes the appeal of the day: there is room for the bounce as well as the distortion. For a pre-festival listening stop, the band's official site currently highlights Warrior Spirit.
Goldfinger: There is a current chapter here, too. Goldfinger's official site lists the 2026 album Nine Lives and confirms its October 18 Mission Bayfest appearance with The Offspring and The Interrupters. The site's playlist also offers a route through songs including “Superman” and “Here in Your Bedroom.” Consider it listening homework, rather than a prediction of what will be played.
The official Sunday ticket listing also names The Expendables, Jakobs Castle, Sitting On Saturn, Kyle Smith, The Ries Brothers and sullvn. The three bands in our headline are a starting point, not the entire day.
Give yourself time to catch someone beyond your must-see list. That is part of the value of a festival bill: familiar names get you through the gate, while an earlier performance can send you home with another band to follow.
Sunday is our focus, but the broader festival offers plenty of reasons to explore the full weekend. Rebelution, Kolohe Kai, Steel Pulse, Common Kings and SOJA are among the names on the official festival lineup. Compare single-day and three-day options before deciding how much time to spend on the bay.
Revolt has always found stories where music and Southern California's outdoor culture meet. Producing 12 seasons of the Revolt Summer Surf Series gave us plenty of experience with that overlap - the competition, the people on the sand and the music around it.
Mission Bayfest is its own event, but its waterfront setting makes that connection easy to appreciate. Our recent Sessions Surf Festival coverage is another place to explore the relationship between local music and coastal culture.
