Jesse James Pariah, the surfer singer-songwriter and Slum Beach Posse member, has officially joined the roster of SVN/BVRNT Records/Regime Music Group, the new independent label founded by Jakob Nowell (Sublime, Jakobs Castle) and guitarist Zane Vandevort. With his signing, Jesse has released his brand-new single “Horns Under Halo” produced by DENM across all digital platforms.

This passion for music eventually led him to connect with DENM, who became both a mentor and collaborator. It was through that collaboration that Jesse found other like-minded Huntington Beach artists such as Landon McNamara and Benny Ranks. A spontaneous jam session would eventually lead to the creation of the Slum Beach Posse, a collective of musical misfits that bonded over their shared love for surfing and reggae.
DENM would eventually assemble the collective together to jam and record at McNamara’s house for a week. The end result of those recording sessions would become DENM’s now classic “Slum Peach Posse Vol. 1” album, which thrust Slum Beach Posse into the national spotlight with over 30 million collective streams online.
Excitement for Jesse James Pariah’s debut album is reaching peak levels with ThePier.org proclaiming it’s one of “The Most Anticipated Reggae Rock Albums of 2025.” Slated for spring 2025 release through SVN/BVRNT and Regime Music Group, the record promises an eclectic mix of genres from island infused reggae to alt-rock, reflecting the highs and lows of Jesse’s personal and artistic journey.
Jesse James Pariah will then perform at BeachLife Festival on May 3rd in Redondo Beach, CA alongside Sublime, Long Beach Dub Allstars, and Sugar Ray.
