Stagecoach 2026 just added a “stay out late” upgrade – and it’s basically a genre mash pit
Stagecoach has never been only country – it’s the desert festival where boots meet bass, nostalgia meets chaos, and someone inevitably yells “one more song” like they run the place.
For Stagecoach 2026 (April 24-26) at Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA, the festival is officially leaning into the after-dark crowd with a brand-new Mustang Stage (presented by Boot Barn) – a bigger space near the Mane entrance across from the ferris wheel, designed as a destination for fans who want to keep the night going.
Translation: the late-night energy just got a real home base.
What is the Mustang Stage?
It’s the new hub for genre-defying sets – legends, newcomers, and curveballs – and it’s also the new home for Stagecoach Late Night (previously held at Palomino).
If your festival strategy includes “main stage at sunset, chaos after dark,” this is your lane.
Mustang Stage lineup (by day)
Friday, April 24
Red Clay Strays – southern rock grit and soul
Counting Crows – the sing-along you didn’t plan on
BigXthaPlug – bass-heavy, modern hip-hop pressure
Saturday, April 25
Journey – yes, THAT Journey
Bush – 90s rock throws elbows
Treaty Oak Revival – “West Texas degenerates” (their words)
Sunday, April 26
Hootie & The Blowfish – warm, weirdly perfect in the desert
Third Eye Blind – peak 90s alt catharsis
The Wallflowers – the Sunday comedown soundtrack
Late Night at Mustang (aka: do not schedule early brunch)
Friday: Diplo
Saturday: Pitbull
Sunday: Ludacris
This is basically Stagecoach saying: “Hydrate. Then don’t stop.”
Headliners – the main-stage big three
Cody Johnson
Lainey Wilson
Post Malone
That trio is the cleanest summary of modern Stagecoach: country at the core, crossover by design. Here’s the full lineup:
Palomino Stage still matters
Palomino returns too – and if you’ve done Stagecoach before, you already know the deal: packed tent, big moments, smaller-stage magic.
Why Revolt In Style cares
Because this lineup is the festival version of your shuffled playlist: classic rock you grew up with, 90s alt you still quote, country stars that headline everything, hip-hop and EDM sets that turn the desert into a club. It’s not “country vs everything else.” It’s country + everything else.
If you’re going – plan for the heat, pace yourself, and remember the golden rule: comfortable shoes beat aesthetic pain every time. Dont wear cowboy boots unless you know what you’re doin’.
