FEEDBACK / Photographic Works by Eric Hendrikx
Orange County-based photographer Eric Hendrikx’s work doesn’t stringently fall into one category. Incorporating his passions in the worlds of music, mixed martial arts and skateboarding, Hendrikx’s chockfull resume sees a variety of publications and products for the likes of Gibson, HarperCollins, and Victory Belt Publishing, while his tenure as skate editor for Revolt In Style affirms his talent with sought after publications.
A veteran photographer in the world of mixed martial arts, Hendrikx’s involvement and documentation of the sport, gaming numerous photos that formulate book titles with Ken Shamrock, Randy Couture, Marcelo Garcia, Dave Camarillo and Eddie Bravo, provide scope and direction into the aggressive and skilled nature of their sport.
Following the success of his most recent publication, Bringing Metal to the Children, with rock guitar deity Zakk Wylde (Ozzy Osbourne, Black Label Society), Orange County’s Gold & Braid salon is hosting an exhibition of Hendrikx’s photographic works entitled FEEDBACK, with proceeds supporting the A.Skate Foundation, benefitting families with autism.
The gallery features previously unreleased images of musicians and athletes including Zakk Wylde, Foo Fighters, Slash, Ben Harper, Mike Vallely, and Neal Hendrix. Sponsors rallied together in support of FEEDBACK, including Stance, Pabst Blue Ribbon, and Fred Water.
