Gibson Artists Make an Impact on the Global Stage with Electrifying Performances at the GRAMMY® Awards, MusiCares “Persons of the Year,” and FIREAID

Gibson Gives, Artists, and Partners Wildfire Relief Donation Efforts Showcase the Power of Music

Gibson, the iconic, American instrument brand, has shaped sound across generations and genres of music, becoming one of the most relevant, played, and loved brands around the world. With instruments that inspire Gibson’s legendary artists and nurture new players, Gibson has emerged as an industry leader by offering award-winning guitars, and gear, as well as creating new ways for artists to connect and grow. In the past week, Gibson artists have made a massive impact on the global stage with electrifying performances at the 67^th GRAMMY® Awards show, MusiCares “Persons of the Year” Honoring The Grateful Dead, and FIREAID.

We are proud of our Gibson and Epiphone artists for supporting our philanthropic division Gibson Gives and its efforts to donate to multiple Wildfire Relief organizations including signing guitars for major auctions and raising millions during FIREAID, Jam For Janie, the MusiCares “Persons of the Year” Honoring The Grateful Dead events, and more.

Additionally, Gibson is honored to celebrate its GRAMMY® winning artists for 2025 including Sabrina Carpenter, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Andrew Watt, Chris Stapleton, Miley Cyrus, Josh Osborne, Kacey Musgraves, Sierra Ferrell, Shakira, and Amy Allen.

GRAMMY® AWARDS:

For the epic performance of “Pink Pony Club” Chappell Roan’s musical director Heather Brown and production manager Joel Eriksson reached out to Gibson with the idea of a disco ball guitar design to create a beautiful moment in guitarist Andrea Ferrero’s solo during Chappell Roan’s first GRAMMY performance. In three days, the Gibson Los Angeles team designed, hand cut, shaped, and glued Mirrorball glass onto a Gibson Les Paul Special Tribute guitar creating an stunning and unforgettable moment during the show.

Gibson artist and Gibson Generation Group graduate Grace Bowers was invited by Chris Martin of Coldplay and producer Jimmy Jam to perform a special tribute segment during the GRAMMYs dedicated to the musicians and music luminaries we lost last year. With Chris on piano, Grace on guitar and a string quartet backing them, they delivered a powerful performance of the Coldplay song “All My Love.”

MUSICARES “PERSONS OF THE YEAR”

FIREAID:

To open the FIREAID show, Green Day performed a stunning duet of their song “Last Night On Earth” with Billie Eilish.

The Black Crowes invited multiple guests to perform, including John Fogerty, and SLASH, who joined Chris and Rich Robinson for an epic acoustic performance of Led Zeppelin’s “Going to California.”

Stevie Nicks shared her personal experience of almost losing her home in the Palisades Fire, while guitarist Waddy Wachtel and Darell Smith performed a string of her classic hits including “Stand Back,” “Landslide,” and “Edge of Seventeen” at FIREAID.

Breakout singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams who grew up in the Palisades area, brought Aaron Dessner of The National to the stage at Intuit Dome to perform her hit “I Love You, I’m Sorry” followed by a love letter to Los Angeles, a heartful cover of Counting Crows “A Long December.”
